Build Brand Authority With AI-Driven Content
In the dynamic world of startups, establishing a foothold isn't just about having an exceptional product or service; it's also about building authority in your industry.
Authority is the perception that you are an expert in your field. When you have authority, people are likelier to trust you and take your advice. This can give you a significant advantage in the startup world, where customers often look for new and innovative solutions to their problems.
The Power of Authority
In a world inundated with SaaS solutions, standing out isn't just about product differentiation—it's about voice and value. More than ever, startups realize that the key to gaining trust and building authority isn't just in the tech stack — it’s also in the stories they tell and the knowledge they share.

7 AI Tools for Creating Content
If you’re looking for a free tool, OpenAI’s ChatGPT is surprisingly good at almost any copywriting task you give it. If you’re looking for an AI with more recent data, give Google’s Bard a try. I’ve found ChatGPT is better at copywriting, but Bard is better for headlines, titles, and subject lines.
Anyword is a copywriting all-rounder and can generate headlines, social media posts, blogs, product descriptions, and email subject lines… the list goes on. Its best feature is the target audience identification and performance ranking of your content, which I haven’t seen in any of the other tools.
Anyword offers a free 7-day trial and will cost you $39/month for one seat after that. If you want to bring the team, you’ll pay $49/month for 3 seats. G2 rating: 4.8.
Writesonic can help you generate ad copy, social posts, and blogs, apply your brand voice, and turn text into audio. It offers a chatbot, starter templates, and an image-generation tool like Midjourney. You can sign up for their free tier with a limited number of words or upgrade for $16/month per seat. Be warned, you can deplete your credits with just a few blog posts. G2 rating: 4.8
Grammarly is my winner for the best daily use tool. It offers free grammar and spell check using its web app, or you can link it to Google Docs or Word. The upgraded plan includes an AI writing assistant, style and tone suggestions, and a plagiarism checker. You can use the free version for as long as you want, but for the extra features, like tone and style recommendations, you’ll pay $12/month. G2 rating: 4.7.
Neural Love is an excellent option for image and audio processing, including image generation, upscaling and enhancement, colorization, audio enhancement, and video frame rate conversion. You can try it once for free or pay $30/month for 300 credits. Trust Pilot rating: 4.8.
Descript is an audio and video editor with features like transcription, um and ah removal (who doesn’t need that!), and team collaboration. For one hour of content editing, you can use the free version or upgrade for $12/month. G2 rating: 4.5
Canva’s Content Strategy
In the realm of digital marketing, content is a pivotal driver of audience engagement. Eric Siu, CEO of Single Grain, says content forms the bedrock of customer acquisition.
Content helps you build domain authority, retarget potential customers, and pave the way for your marketing strategies. It's not just about producing content; it's about creating valuable, educational pieces that resonate with your audience. Silicon Valley marketer, Regis McKenna, encapsulates the sentiment: “The best marketing is education.”
Canva, the world’s most accessible design platform, invests heavily in its content strategy. Every piece, from blog articles to design tutorials, aims to educate its users, ensuring they extract the maximum value from the platform.
Their content strategy aligns with the user's search intent, which drives high conversion rates. For instance, if users search for logo creation, Canva directs them to a dedicated landing page, ensuring the content is relevant to their needs.
